Already as child I wanted to be an engineer and that's what I became. In 1989 I took a position as a project engineer in the U.S. Armed Forces. In 1992, due to good performance, I was promoted to supervisor and finally, in 1997, to deputy director. Personnel leadership and management require special soft and social skills.
