The Black Arrow

Our story takes place in England in the middle of the 15th century. Henry the Sixth was king and a civil war between the royal families of Lancaster and York was destroying the country. A young man called Richard Shelton, known as 'Dick', was riding quickly to the city. He was carrying a message to recruit any men who could use a bow and arrow to join him. A terrible battle with the supporters of York was about to happen. Adapted from the historical novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1888.
