Moses Hull, after losing his faith, joined the spiritual movement of the late nineteenth century and began to ruminate on the superiority of Satan over God, on the superiority of occult wisdom on the barbaric nature of Christian worship and on the wonders of modern scientific reality. This work can be interpreted in part as a Luciferian manifesto, and partly as a philosophical counterpoint to greed and envy of the Christian movement.
