After the hitchhiking journeys described in the book "Lonesome Streets Blues", the author found his place on Earth in a small Portuguese town. He landed there by responding to an advertisement from an "eccentric artist seeking a partner to run an antique shop and an illegal restaurant." Ten years later, he finds himself in Portugal again, and the circumstances are even more astonishing than before.
